Providing Access to Healthcare for Marginalized Communities
While over 70% of people in high-income countries are fully vaccinated, rates in low-income countries remain around 30%, with marginalized communities — including rural populations, the immunocompromised, HIV-positive individuals, and the elderly — suffering the most. Barriers such as cost, limited access, mistrust in healthcare, language gaps, and misinformation continue to drive inequity.
Through one of our dedicated projects, we conduct awareness campaigns to educate these affected groups and collaborate with public and private organizations to provide them with vaccines and other essential medications through medical camps. Bridging these gaps is essential — not only to protect vulnerable populations but also to reduce the global risk of new variants and ongoing disruptions.
